QuickBooks is an accounting software ideal for Micro, Small and Medium Sized Entities (MSMEs). There are now two QuickBooks solutions for your business:

  • QuickBooks Desktop
  • QuickBooks Online

    • QB Desktop is the version of QuickBooks that is stored locally on the server or computer. If you require two or more computers to work on the same company file at the same time (multiuser access), then the company file must be stored on a server which is networked with the computers on which the QuickBooks software are installed.

    There are multiple variants of QuickBooks designed primarily for different jurisdictions. E.g. QB UK, QB US, QB Canada etc

    QB online is the version of QuickBooks that is stored on the cloud. It is hosted by QuickBooks. The account can be accessed anytime, anywhere once you have internet access. This version is subscription based, paid monthly or yearly.
